🌧️ Wet weather, great company and a heart-racing evening walk! 🌧️

The rainy evening didn’t put off the walkers, with 18 of us braving the wet weather tonight! ☔️

We were joined by two new members, as well as a member from the Edinburgh group, which was lovely.

We set off along the path by the train station before veering off into the woodland to take on our first hill.

As we approached Deer Hill, we were greeted by a family of deer 🦌 — they were too fast for us to capture a photo but lovely to see of an evening as can’t spot too much wildlife in the dark nights.    

We then came down alongside the golf course before heading back into the woodland and making our way up Dechmont Law. Unfortunately, the weather spoiled the amazing views tonight, with it being very wet and overcast, but it certainly didn’t spoil our spirits — as you can see from our group photo! 😊

An amazing, fast-paced and heart-racing evening walk, enjoyed by all! ❤️
