We started with a pleasant walk in Braid Hills Nature Reserve and then walked briefly towards a residential area. The walk then took us along the edge of a farmers field where we passed Liberton Tower, good views could be seen of Edinburgh here.
Stopping at the Golf Centre Cafe, lovely coffee, alas a very grumpy owner who spoiled our break a little.
We continued up to the top of Buckstone Snab, with stunning views and unique perspectives of Edinburgh, Arthurs Seat, Forth of Firth in front, and the Pentlands behind! Sitting on the benches there we were able to spend time enjoying the view. The weather was very pleasant, with the sun showing some appearances and no rain!
Heading down the hill, through the woods and back to the start, finding time to have fun on a swing in amongst the trees, and completing this lovely circular route.
